From Displacement to a New Beginning

Ahmed arrived in the UK two years ago, having left behind everything he knew. Like many of the people we support, his journey to safety was long, uncertain, and deeply challenging.

When he first came to Safe Roots International, Ahmed was navigating the asylum process alone — without work rights, without language support, and without a clear path forward.

The Turning Point

Our advisors worked with Ahmed over several months. We helped him:

• Connect with a local employer through our network

Today

Ahmed now works full-time in logistics and has recently started volunteering with us on weekends — helping newly arrived individuals just as he was helped. His story is a powerful reminder of what people can achieve with the right support at the right time.
